In 1998, a group of cattle producers came together in New Mexico to discuss how they could create an organization that would benefit producers and pave the way for future generations. The result was the Cattlegrowers’ Foundation. Through this organization, the agriculture industry and private land owners have a voice that works for them through educating the public and law makers on the issues most important to them.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote, protect and defend agricultural producers and landowners of New Mexico through public and producer education and policy education. New Mexico agriculture continues to be a growing industry, and with this growth comes a need to proactively educate the general public and government officials about the needs of the industry. Additionally, private land owners and public land users invariably need a defender as public land and regulation expands. The Cattlegrowers’ Foundation stands as the voice for producers, landowners and the agricultural industry in New Mexico.
